Make/shift pays $.02/word plus two copies for prose and a flat fee for visual art and poetry.
Send pitches or full-draft submissions to info@makeshiftmag.com. Please submit no more than three poems or two pieces of prose at a time. Feel free to pitch multiple ideas at once. Please send previously unpublished material only. We accept pitches and submissions on a rolling basis.

Please note that as a small, all-volunteer collective that publishes only two magazines per year, it sometimes takes us several months to make submissions decisions.

We are currently seeking original articles and visual and text art for future issues. Please send pitches or submissions to info@makeshiftmag.com.
